Recently a major discussion point about SEO is that if the subject or keyword is more important. This discussion comes from the fact that Google is learning ways to understand natural language. Google is very good at doing this so that it can actually identify the same keywords for the search query so that you can make small changes in editing your content while targeting a specific keyword phrase. Worry makes worry less important. Some people argue that it is important to think about the concepts despite the actual words Google uses.
With the rise of RankBrain, machine learning and other aspects of today’s dynamic search engine. I have seen a lot of content that attempts to reduce the fundamental theories of discovery. There are announcements that do not have the cost of the link, keyword research, and other basic SEO practices. Not only do I think these people are wrong, I think they are running many people in the wrong direction.
In the early 2000s, microsite millionaires were springing up like daisies. the way Google SEO works, the Fortune was literally built overnight, and the formula could not be simplified.
In 2011, With the Google’s Panda Update changed everything. This method was used to make money, and SEO is completely different. While SEO looks different, it is still important to understand how it works so that you have upper hand. Google has continued to provide new updates to its search engine and it is now quite beneficial for the webmaster.
How Has SEO Changed Over the Last Decade?
With new technological changes, we consider ways to buy, discover and consume new behaviors. In 2017, Google made countless updates to its algorithms. While any person who talks with me knows that I am the last person to point out algorithmic changes, which have important significance for your day, as well as the way our friendly search refers to them, it is remarkable.
Consider PageRank. It is not completely dead, but being one of the top determining factors for website ranking is one of the more than 200 factors used by Google to determine the ranking. And now all these factors are analyzed and analyzed so that Google can help determine their own page authority. This means that to determine your eligibility as a leader, in this case, there are things like quality of your content, inbound links, outbound links, social media shares, easy to use and even website design.
Why purely focusing on keywords is outdated?
Google’s search algorithm is more advanced than calculating the number of keywords on the page. They are even more advanced than assessing keyword density. The first really popular update to highlight your strong digital panda industry was that they would not accept keyword stuffing.
Panda was the first but certainly was not the last. Many updates from 2011 focus on the industry in the dark days of the keywords Stuffing on the industry.
Hummingbird, Latent Semantic Indexing and Semantic Search
Google considers synonyms; Which was relatively easy for them. However, they did not stop there. Google Hummingbirds update help them understand the real meaning behind the search term rather than the keywords or synonyms contained in the search.
Rankbrain is an algorithm for learning artificial intelligence, which was used by Google on October 26, 2015. This helps Google to process search results and provide users with more relevant search results.
As the starting point, the content should always be written for the user always. Focus on the task for the user, or focus on the socks described in your search for ‘Search Task Accomplishment’ on Friday. Keywords (or search terms) and related phrases can be included later if necessary.
Writing user-centric content gives more tribute to the ranking of keywords than the concept of ranking. For many of us, we want users to complete the work, or at least come back to our website in the future.
What does SEO look like?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a discipline that primarily helps to optimize and enhance the visibility of websites or blogs in organic results of search engines on Google, Bing, Baidu, and More.
Today, the role of SEO has diminished very little, but it still makes sense how SEO works today, still, give you the upper hand. Although Google is not currently the only source of Internet access because it was a few years ago, it is due to the emergence of native applications on smartphones and social networks, still, have sufficient authority.
Google continues to release new updates (Google Hummingbird in 2013) in its search, which makes SEO keywords gaming less and less relevant because Google is doing SEO for you. Their discovery has become so sophisticated that it can understand the words behind your words and the questions your customers can type in their search bar. It uses Intel to automatically show questions that do not contain keywords from your site.
SEO has changed, here are 3 main ways:-
1). Keyword Placement over Frequency:
There are several metrics that take together, help Google determine your page authentication. They weigh inbound links, outbound links, social media shares, content quality, site design, ease of use, and many more other factors.
2). Keyword Placement over Frequency:
Whether you work in search engine optimization or you are a part-time AdWords advertiser trying to expand your business, you may have filled the word “keyword frequency”.
3). Semantic Search over Long and Short-Tail Keywords:
Since 2004, we have heard the word “long tail” and “small tail” when Chris Anderson made him in a wired article. And we all know that long tail keywords-keyword phrases are more than three words-small tails are better than keywords because they target more specific search queries and help you better target your niche.
Should we completely ignore keywords?
Well, no, and this is not to repel me. All the above advice is valid. The problem is that it is not that easy. The first point of creating is that if your content is user-oriented, then your keyword (and related phrase) is more likely to be naturally occurring.
To make sure that you are not ‘side-to-mentioned’ at the beginning of this article, you may have to work on a balanced balance. Google is a very smart algorithm, but in the end, it’s still a machine. It can take time and experience in this balanced work. You do not want to include keywords for this, but you do not want to make Google’s life extremely difficult. Experimentation, analysis, repetition.
If your content is a bit weird and wonderful, then due to this fact, there may be a negative impact on your ability to attract proper traffic, it is very difficult for Google to understand which search term your website is on.
What SEO Will Look Like in the Future
SEO is a constantly changing and growing industry. Search engine optimization (SEO) is no longer seen as an Internet “Black Magic”, but it is now considered an essential part of any serious digital marketing strategy.
It is entirely possible that one-day meaningful search will become so powerful that you can be SEO ignorant and keyword insensitive and still rank highly based on other measures of page rank for your targeted search query.
I am going to take a step and make three predictions about the future of the SEO industry.
Since we have moved into a mobile-first world, the way we search, talk and buy. Mobile has become our powerful tool, and Google is not waiting around. A recent report by Hitwise (Registration Required) argues that in the US, mobile search is about 58 percent of the total search query volume.
But users just do not want to do something that looks good on mobile devices – they want to speed too. In fact, Google’s own research shows that 53 percent of people will leave a site that fails to load within three seconds or less. This is one of the main reasons Google and others pressurize the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) project.
As far as we know at this point, the AMP is not a ranking signal, but that does not mean that it does not have any effect on your search or website performance. AMP content is mainly shown above the organic listings in mobile search results.
AMP has essentially restored key elements on how websites organize their mobile pages. It has broken into three sections:
- AMP HTML: A newly designed version of HTML includes a new set of custom AMP related commands.
- Use CDN (Content Delivery Network): This will take your AMP optimized content and will cache them for fast delivery.
2). UX will play a larger role:-
To improve a Website in the future, future technology and design will be added. This is to provide the person with the opportunities and options to move forward in the future.
Today’s SEO professionals need not only understand the search engine optimization of websites and different types of content, they also need to understand how people interact with the web over the internet.
As the use of machine learning increases, user signals in search engine rankings will be more prominent. Therefore, UX issues can prevent people from reaching their potential in organic search results and can be considered more widely, interrupting conversion performance.
Google is obsessed with the user and you should be since that because search results become more customizable, the user experience (UX) will play a bigger role in search. If your users do not include your content, you will lose, even if your information is very good.
Tools like Google Search Console & Analytics, which are 100% percent free, you have enough information to get started. Find out which content is working and why to make it more. Think about your users because they talk online with your brand, and create a unique experience for them.
3). Google RankBrain AI:-
Rankbrain is Google’s AI-based query interpretation algorithm which is part of the Hummingbird. When Google announced Rankbrain in 2015, the search world lost its mind. Today, we still don’t know much about Rankbrain, besides this, it is one of Google’s top three search ranking factors. Personally, I think finding Ai is a big deal. Over time, the machine learns patterns and understands the content, the results will be as accurate as possible. The second advantage of AI is that it will kill the black-hat SEO, which I believe is very good for the whole industry.
In the sense of acquiring knowledge from the right artificial intelligence, or less AI, where a computer can be as smart as a human, acquire at least knowledge and make knowledge and create new connections. If Rankbrain sees a word or phrase, then it is not familiar, then the machine can guess which words or phrases can mean the same meaning and filter the results according to the results, never before ever searching Also make it more effective in handling questions.
