Ways Of Driving Country-Specific Website Traffic:

#1. Domain Name and Web Hosting Server Location:

Your domain name is particularly capable of influencing both your online reputation and search engine rankings in local search results. Therefore, it is also necessary to use a correct domain name.

Top level domain extensions such as .com .net and .org typically rank higher on global search engines. You can also buy these top-level domains, but a great disadvantage of these domains is that you will find it hard to rank on specific country search engines. Therefore, if your goal is clear and you want to target only a specific country then country-specific domains (.us, .co.uk, .in, .au,..) is always a great choice for you.

Domain and Hosting

Another important factor in running geo-targeted traffic is your server location. If your targeted country is U.S. (United States), then you would like to host your website on a U.S.-based server. If you are targeting traffic from Australia, then host your website on the Australian server.

Your server location is also an essential factor for getting geo-targeting traffic. The location of the hosting server plays an important role in the quality of its distribution. Therefore, to focus on your goals, host your website only in the country whose traffic you are targeting. If you are targeting U.S.A (United States), then you should host your website on a U.S.-based server.
